Hearth is a line of ceramics and textiles made by hand in Bainbridge Island, Washington. We thoughtfully create each piece to be both beautiful and kind to the earth.

An animal lover and a Bainbridge Island native, Morgan has devoted her life to the arts. She developed her passion for ceramics in high school, attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and later worked as a studio assistant to a local ceramics artist. In 2012 she founded SpaceCraft, a non profit organization dedicated to supporting emerging musicians of the Pacific Northwest. When not at Hearth, Morgan can be found driving her emerald green 1976 Ford Elite named Glodean, reading tarot cards, and eating all the food. She lives with her roomie, Miles, a very fancy long haired chihuahua.

A mother and a maker, a lab ware enthusiast and a farmer’s market seeker, Alli’s experience weaves through the arts and environmental sciences. She holds a design degree from the University of Washington, worked in the research field of environmental microbiology, and has participated in solo and collaborative design-build projects. She derives deep satisfaction from working with her hands through gardening, foraging, and fermenting to connect with the land and her ancestors. Her love of pottery and natural dyes are an extension of this interest. Alli lives on Bainbridge Island with her husband, son, chickens, and black cat, Monsieur Rogue Raven le Noir.
